Peppa tanzt in den Herbst - Tanztheater für Kinder ab 3 Jahren

The days are getting shorter, the leaves are falling...Yay! Autumn is coming! Bring on the rubber boots! And at least a million tons of toothpicks for Peppa's chestnut figurine theater. Colorful leaf bathing, kite making, and of course, walking the lantern...It's going to be fun!

In the cozy studio theater of the Alte Wursterei in Cologne-Ehrenfeld, children from the age of 3 can attend a performance together with their parents or grandparents. The performances last half an hour. Here, children can leave the theater after the performance, depending on their liking and possibilities. Afterwards, the rustic backyard invites you to linger. With a tasty sausage and lemonade or waffles and cocoa it is possible to have a good time. Children get a free drink. And whoever wants to can still paint Peppa a picture or write a letter.

"Peppa Dances into Autumn" is one of six productions for young audiences. The non-verbal dance theater pieces use dance, clowning and music to tell stories about topics from the children's world of experience. They are characterized by delicate play, versatile movement vocabulary and sensitive interaction. Across linguistic and cultural barriers, the productions create emotional experiences entirely without words. They stimulate the imagination, the children's own desire to play and create, and their (also verbal) exchange with each other. Since 2018, Peppa has been on tour with her plays in daycare centers in Cologne, the surrounding area and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. She has since visited about 60 daycare centers and reached more than 4000 young spectators.
