We’ve all been there: Taking photos while traveling is a lot of fun! Unfortunately, though, the results often don’t do justice to the emotions and experiences we had. We see fantastic travel photos in presentations and magazines—maybe even from the same destinations—and wonder why our pictures don’t look the same.
In this photography seminar, experienced and award-winning travel photographer Thorge Berger will show you how to get a lot right right from the planning stage of your trip and what to keep in mind once you’re there. You’ll learn what equipment you need for different purposes and what to keep in mind when composing your shots so you can bring home impressive travel photos. The seminar will cover the various aspects of travel photography: landscape and architectural photography, people and street photography, and wildlife and documentary photography.

The travel photos you see in magazines and presentations rarely come straight out of the camera exactly as they appear. That’s why professionals often shoot with the post-processing in mind. In this photography seminar, Thorge Berger will also show you which settings to use on your camera so you can get the most out of your images later on. Among other things, the seminar will cover the following topics:

During the seminar, the theoretical content will be illustrated with numerous image examples. Thorge Berger will showcase some of his best photos from over 40 years as a travel photographer. He’ll explain how these photos were created and what you can learn from them. There will be plenty of time for questions.
