Performance "Flight Theater", Steffani Jemison mit Quincy Flowers

Steffani Jemison willdevelopa new iteration of the work*Flight Theater*in close collaboration with the author Quincy Flowers.

Flight Theateris a collaborative practice of study, research, and performance. It premiered in September 2024 at the Centre d’Art Contemporain Genève as a reading by the artists. In January 2025, the performance was presented as a play at the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver.

The performance at the Westfälischer Kunstverein will take place on Sunday, September 6, at 4:00 p.m. Additionally, further presentations in an adapted form are planned for 2026/27 at The Kitchen in New York, where Steffani Jemison will open a solo exhibition at the end of the year.
