Peter Piek

"Peter Piek is a painter, multi-instrumentalist, performance artist, thinker and writer.
He was born in 1981 in Chemnitz (formerly Karl-Marx-Stadt).
From 2002 to 2006 he attended the Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig.
At the same time, he founded the independent painting studio Malfront with Michael Goller.
On journeys of several months through the USA, China and Europe he played numerous concerts
and exhibited in over 30 countries. His paintings touch his viewers
by the intensity of the colors and the composition of his picture planes.
Piek describes painting as a creative process per se, regardless of whether he expresses himself through painting, music or writing,
musically or by writing. Peter Piek lives in Leipzig and works everywhere."
