Picnic Dance | Outdoor Ecstatic Dance

Dear Friend,

With open hearts, we invite you to follow nature’s call. In the majestic Stammheim Palace Park, we are creating a sacred space for connection, self-expression, and celebrating life together.

Our PICNIC DANCE is more than just an event—it’s a space of connection where we dance, sing, share, and come together in true presence. An invitation to leave everyday life behind and form a nurturing circle together.


📅 TIMETABLE:

4:00 p.m. | Arrival & Opening of the Space
Together, we’ll create and decorate our nature altar. Symbolically, bring a natural object you find along the way—a feather, a stone, a flower, or a branch that calls to you.

5:00 PM | Movement & Free Expressive Dance
After our opening circle, we’ll follow guided movement prompts to ground ourselves in our bodies and connect with the group. From there, free expressive dance unfolds—a space without rules, where your authentic expression can flow freely. We’ll be accompanied by wonderful live musicians who will hold the space with their sounds.

7:30 PM | Buffet of Abundance
Together, we’ll open our vegetarian buffet and create a space for nourishment and connection. A moment of community and sharing.

8:00–9:11 p.m. | Sunset Songs
In the golden light of the fading day, we’ll sing songs from the heart as the sun sets—a magical conclusion to our shared circle.


🎒 PACKING LIST:

- A natural object for our shared altar
- A picnic blanket for sitting and being
- Something nourishing for our vegetarian buffet
- Your own dishes, utensils, and drinking vessels (zero waste)
- Musical instruments, if you’d like
- Toys for the little ones
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- A small trash bag (Leave No Trace)
- Your open presence and joy in being together

Weather Policy:

In case of heavy rain or thunderstorms, we’ll notify you by email by 12 p.m. on the day of the event if the event is canceled.


Dogs: Are welcome (please keep them on a leash)
