PIRATES IN BLACK - Merciless - Lawless - Heavy - Rock

When the rum suddenly disappears, the speakers start to creak dangerously and the air smells of heavy rock, then it's clear: Pirates In Black are on the move and are taking over Betty's Black Pearl. Captain Jack Sparrow wouldprobably havenodded approvingly - or at least twitched his eyebrow.

Founded at the end of 2016 by Captain Falo Faltu, these buccaneers of heavy rock come straight from Wuppertal (Germany). Their sound is as honest as a cannonball at close range: solid heavy rock with clear echoes of Black Sabbath and Black Label Society. The band calls it short and sweet:
"Merciless. Lawless. Heavy. Rock."
And yes - that's exactly how it sounds.

In addition to the singing and guitar-playing Captain Falo Faltu, the crew also includes

• Quartermaster Accu Becher on guitar,
• JayJay on bass and
• powder monkey Hans Heringer on drums.

All the men on board have years of experience in predominantly hard and heavy music. Nothing is polished, smoothed or softened here - at most the neck after headbanging.

The trade press confirms that this ship not only floats, but also fires full broadside. Theo from Burn Your Ears Webzine writes:
