"One day a child planted three dots. And they grew into lines ..." In this fascinating journey into the world of the simplest shapes, an empty white stage becomes an imaginative universe where little dots keep setting the tone. A dancer and a juggler transform them into lines and into landscapes with movement, illusion, acrobatic play and old overhead projectors. The dots stand as a moon in the sky, whiz through the air as balls, become a buzzing fly, a seed, a big tree or they crawl through the room as a snake. A poetic theater play that leaves a lot of room for the young audience's own imagination. Company Portmanteau are Mira Ravald and Luis Sartori do Vale. The two performers have their roots in contemporary circus, but take a cross-genre approach in their joint work, creating productions that rely heavily on the visual plane. In 2021, they were nominated for the International Circus Award. Notes on accessibility: Information on the structural accessibility of the venue can be found here.
