In the organizer's words:
Shy Beca loves listening to music and initially struggles to make friends at her new school. When a classmate comments on her singing in the shower, she ends up joining an a cappella group. The motley crew consists of a wide variety of characters, but all the girls are extremely talented. They’re determined to win the international championship against male competition. Despite rivalries and bickering among themselves, the group has a real shot at victory with Beca’s help.
