Carlo Karacho emerged from the pulsating Berlin sound cosmos two years ago with the debut EP "CM Isolation". Without warning, the sound tinkerer teleports the peaks of Neue Deutsche Welle in '85 into the present and reaches the level of the once world-famous legends right off the bat: A bit of German-American friendship, pinches of Holger Hiller, delicate 808s and Detroit electro vibes. Karacho brings together things that have always belonged together but have recently met far too rarely. The buxom DIY productions of this self-ironic jack-of-all-trades are characterized by an almost lavish melodic flair that is almost impossible to learn: it's either there - or it's not. Spontaneity over economy, so to speak. For his new album "WIR SIND NICHT DIE JEDI DIE SIE SUCHEN" (WE ARE NOT THE JEDI YOU ARE LOOKING FOR), he arranges to meet people from the mysterious collective Torn Palk on eBay and starts jamming. Together they recorded ten tracks in just five days, which, between post-punk, updated new wave and classic NDW vibes, provided the perfect soundtrack for the absurdities of our late capitalist era. Lively on stage, a feast for the senses where water becomes wine. Can only be felt, not described.

parforce ride through the ruins of our time.
Using kickboxing phonetics and an electronic armada, it leads us through
haunting soundscapes somewhere between DAF, the Kosmische Kurieren and Frankfurt's
Kosmische Kurieren and Frankfurt's Bahnhofsviertel.

For almost two decades now, sound activist Toben Piel has been sending out
different constellations, tapping signs and signal sounds from the catacombs
catacombs around the Frankfurt bank towers.
As part of the music performance duo Les Trucs, as co-operator of the tape
label MMODEMM and with works for theater and radio.
His latest prank "Ruinenkampf" will be released on 02.05.2025 via Bureau B.
