In the organizer's words:

The development of the women's movement in Cologne, the current challenges for women's rights and the role of local personalities in promoting emancipation and equality are among the topics of a panel discussion to which we invite you.

The panel will be made up of Barbara Schock-Werner, deputy chairwoman of the Women's Media Council and former cathedral master builder, Fatima Khan, freelance author and co-founder of the feminist literature festival q[lit]*clgn, and Christian Bos, long-time editor of the Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger, and will be chaired by Swantje Freifrau von Massenbach.

The discussion will reflect on current areas of tension and possible future prospects for women.

The event is part of the accompanying program to the exhibition "Pioneers of Change - the First Women's Movement in Cologne", of the Historical Archive with the Rheinisches Bildarchiv, which can be seen until 22 March 2026.
