Poesie für die Szene - Open Air Lesebühne am Bremer Platz

In summer 2026, author and performance artist Andi "Substanz" Lating will once again be "on record" with his typewriter at Bremer Platz. "Lyrikkeller vor Ort - Poesie für die Szene" is the title. He invites people to give him their topics, tell him their story, and then types poetry for them on the typewriter and performs it exclusively and unamplified afterwards. Valuable interaction is created. A carbon copy is made of each work. These results will be used to create a magazine that will be distributed via the channels of the city of Münster, among others. The aim is to give the people of the Bremer Platz scene a voice and make them heard. Since January 2026 until September, he has been offering a weekly writing workshop for people from the scene every Thursday from 3pm to 4pm (location information on Lyrikkeller.de). From the results of this regular writing workshop, an open-air reading stage takes place at Bremer Platz on the table tennis table every last Sunday of the month from May to August. Here, people from the "scene" have the opportunity to perform as artists and creatively express their perspectives, making them accessible to the public. The event is funded by Soziokultur NRW and the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of NRW and supported by Quartiersmanagement Bremer Platz.
