Der RUMS-Preußen-Talk: Zurück in Liga 3 – Woran hat’s gelegen? Und wie geht’s jetzt weiter?

SC Preußen Münster can look back on a couple of almost exhilarating years. Two acclaimed promotions. The return to the 2nd Bundesliga after 33 years. Unforgettable matches in Hamburg, Berlin, Schalke and Cologne. An entire region proudly rallied behind the Adler logo.

Since May 10, it has been clear that the Eagles will return to the 3rd division. A lot will change at SC Preußen Münster in the summer of 2026. And that's exactly what RUMS wants to talk about on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 (7:06 pm) at the ATLANTIC Hotel with those who are shaping and implementing these changes.

The 3rd division will not be a sure-fire success, it will require some smart decisions. What these are and how the club will approach the new season: these are questions that RUMS will discuss with sporting director Ole Kittner . What does the new SC Preußen look like for 2026/2027?

Changes are also in store for the Prussian teams. SCP is planning to enter women's soccer. It has taken time, but it should be good, right and sustainable. One person who has been appointed to the club's executive committee for precisely this purpose is Noemi Hutter. Born in Münster, she wants to help set up the right structures. RUMS wants to find out from her what ideas or plans she has and where the SCP stands in this process.

Someone who looks at things from the outside, but is also very close to them through family ties, will give his assessment from an observer's perspective. Author Dietrich Schulze-Marmeling is a guest with special perspectives and therefore an excellent discussion partner.

The evening will be hosted by Carsten Schulte. The journalist has been following SC Preußen for over 30 years, currently in his magazine preussenjournal.de and in the podcast "Puls 1906". He has written several books about the sports club and has been writing the monthly RUMS column "Der Preußen-Brief" for a year now.
