Poetry Jam enters its 4th round - Where words jam and rhythm connects!
A new creative space for poetry and music in Cologne: the Poetry Jam combines spoken word with live music
Word with live music - without fixed line-ups, but with lots of energy.
The result is a unique, experimental space in which words and sounds merge and the
and sounds merge and the Salon de Jazz in Cologne becomes a stage every last Friday of the month
for everyone who wants to share their thoughts, texts and verses.
For the first time on Friday, March 28, 2025, the space will open up to courageous voices and
open ears. Each performance will be accompanied by a trio of piano, bass and drums
drums, which intuitively takes up the words and interprets them musically live - not just
in the background, but as an equal part of the experience.
Whether experienced stage poets or curious listeners - perfection is not what counts here,
but expression, experimentation and exchange.
Everyone is welcome to share thoughts and texts in any language and
create new worlds of sound together with the music.
