It's been a long time since slam poetry and poetry, spoken and written word have met.

Michael Heide has been active on German-language slam stages since 2008 and has won numerous slams, taking part in the German-language slam championships several times. In his short stories, Heide often creates dark scenarios with morbid elements, but also black-humorous twists and turns, which he combines with a squeaky-clean writing style and a pronounced specialist knowledge of time travel and comics. The always excellently dressed "nerd" knows how to entertain with clever and humorous science fiction scenarios as well as with thought-provoking horror stories. Heide hosted and organized the"Dichterkrieg", Cologne's oldest poetry slam, in the Sonic Ballroom for over five years. Since 2019, he has been publishing the weekly podcast Movigilantes with Dennis Kautz, in which comic book adaptations are reviewed. Heide is part of the reading stage "Ein Abend namens Gudrun". This also includes the exceptional guitarist Cris Revon. He presents entertainment ranging from rock to touching songwriting.
