For years, Pokey LaFarge traveled the country, dreaming up a kaleidoscopic sound shaped by his love of music from different eras and corners of the world: mambo, tropicalia, rocksteady and mid-century rock 'n' roll. The US-American singer and actor loves country and soul just as much as the great Brazilian stylist Jorge Ben.
