The puppeteers of Omas gegen Rechts address relevant socio-political topics in small scenes with their figures (mainly folding mouth puppets) or in the form of a rap chant. They will report on ideas and demonstrate ways of using puppets and rap as a medium to present political content in a playful and musical way when campaigning against right-wing extremism. They are looking forward to a lively exchange about the topic as well as the methods and effects of these forms of expression.
Five actors from the AG Puppenspiel der Omas gegen Rechts (local group Munich) will be present: Mechthild Hageböck-Rachinsky, Ingeborg Herd-Dzierson, Linda Hofmann, Reinhilde Schuster, Dorothea Wunderlin.
This event is part of the series "Puppen - Plaudern - Ausprobieren", an event format between workshop and regulars' table, impulse lecture and practical demonstration for all those interested in puppet theater.
