Are you against oppression? Most of us are, and yet we rarely think about the largest and most oppressed group in the world: nonhuman animals. Speciesism is the term for discrimination against other species. How does it play out in our society without us even noticing it anymore? And is it justified, or should we fight it just as we fight racism, sexism, and other forms of discrimination and oppression?
