Polyküle 2

In the organizer's words:

An evening for polyamory

Queer-poetic texts and short film program with audience discussion (film length: approx. 50 minutes). Whether mono, poly or somewhere in between - all are welcome!

POLYKÜLE goes into the next round: After illuminating many facets of polyamory and non-monogamy through in-depth table discussions in the first installment, we take a closer look at three different relationship networks in POLYKÜLE 2. This time, thanks to the protagonists' video diaries, we are given direct insights into their polyamorous dating and everyday lives.

Different perspectives come together in the three constellations: Birte is in her early twenties and single. For her, polyamory means that relationships should be changeable and fluid in order to grow together. She takes us on dates and tells us about honesty and dealing with feelings such as jealousy. Nina, Jochen and Ina have grown into polyamory together while searching for the right relationship model. It is particularly important to them to have a relationship without pressure or coercion and to give themselves the freedom to keep rediscovering themselves. Fleur, Jojo and Anna bring a total of three children into their polycule. This means that the children have different caregivers, which is an advantage on the one hand, but also requires good communication and agreements. It is important for them to treat each other with curiosity and respect. There is also a fundamental collective idea that goes beyond the relationship itself.

All of these different networks are united by one intention: To overcome conventions and norms and to shape one's own love life in such a way that everyone involved can develop freely and always feel authentically seen. Once again, our participants are creating a strong supporting program for the evening. Birte will read queer poetic texts and Natacha Jill Collin will read from Polywise, the successor to the unofficial standard work Polysecure.

Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to talk to the filmmakers and protagonists. Everyone is cordially invited to actively exchange ideas here. Whether mono, poly or somewhere in between - everyone is welcome!
