The fact that they have been working together intensively for years is the basis for their profound interpretations, because every cog, no matter how small, finds its place in the fine chamber music clockwork. For example, "Epigrams," the last work by Elliott Carter, is full of surprising changes of mood, while Dvořák's elegiac "Dumky" Trio echoes the composer's homesickness for his Bohemian homeland. Finally, a small curiosity is Symphony No. 2, which is heard in an arrangement for piano trio.
