Porcelain Casting Workshop in Düsseldorf – Design Your Own Vessels
3 hours · small groups with a maximum of 6 participants
Experience, pour, and design porcelain
Discover the fascinating world of porcelain casting and learn, in a relaxed atmosphere, how liquid porcelain slurry is transformed into unique vessels.
In this workshop, you’ll gain hands-on insight into the key steps of porcelain casting—from preparing the casting slip to filling the molds, and then demolding and trimming the finished pieces.
You’ll work with various casting molds and have the opportunity to try out your own ideas. You’ll create three unique porcelain vessels, which we’ll dry, fire, and finish for you after the workshop.
Your Own Porcelain Pieces
You can choose from various molds and, for example:
- cast plates
- Design bowls
- Cast mugs
- experiment with colored porcelain
- try out different finishes and decorations
The three basic cast vessels are already included in the price. Depending on the shape and design you choose, you’ll create your very own personalized porcelain pieces that you can later use in everyday life or keep as special one-of-a-kind items.
