Präsentation der Bonner Stadtschreiber 2026: Lucy Fricke

Lucy Fricke will be Bonn’s City Writer in 2026! She will begin her three-month residency fellowship in August. Fricke has published six novels to date, most recently the bestsellers *Töchter* (2018), “Die Diplomatin” (2022), and “Das Fest” (2024). Her books have been translated into more than ten languages and have been honored with the 2018 Bavarian Book Prize and the 2024 Roswitha Literature Prize. She has been a member of the PEN Berlin board since the summer of 2025. In her novels, she explores socially and politically relevant themes and delves into questions of responsibility, identity, and friendship. 
Kristof Magnusson, Bonn City Writer 2024, will moderate the evening.
