In the organizer's words:

The drama department sets a special example for artistic freedom and personal responsibility with the traditional format of "own work". The final-year students leave the path of traditional role studies to take full responsibility for the content, artistic and organizational aspects of their own productions. From the initial concept and writing their own scripts to the aesthetic realization and the search for suitable spaces and partners for interdisciplinary collaborations, the entire process is in their hands. The result is an impressive range of formats, from solo performances to music evenings and films to completely original theater texts. Diverse and self-confident, the graduates thus present a very personal artistic farewell to the HfMDK.
