Sarah Meyer-Dietrich, born in 1980, grew up in the Ruhr region, where she still lives with her family today. As early as 1999, she was selected for the Young Authors’ Conference. She has received numerous awards for her short stories, including the Ruhr Literature Prize’s Encouragement Award. In 2016, she published her first novel, followed in 2017 by *Ruhrpottkind*, which made the shortlist for the Ruhr Literature Prize. In 2023, her novella *From Here We Can Go Anywhere* was published.
