In Hollywood, all that matters to Edward Lewis is business. On a business trip to L.A., the wealthy businessman intends to buy James Morse’s company and sell it at a profit. His lawyer, Phillip Stuckey, has been planning this for a long time. Out of boredom, Edward drives through the city in Stuckey’s sports car and meets Vivian, a prostitute who helps him find his way to the hotel. After spending the night together, he asks her to accompany him for a week. During that time, they both develop feelings for each other.
