Preview: Woodwalkers

Start of the planned film series about a group of shapeshifters.

At first glance, Carag looks like a normal boy, but behind his shining eyes lies an incredible secret: Carag is a shapeshifter. He grew up as a mountain lion in the wilderness and now lives in his boy form in the human world. It is only when Carag is accepted into Clearwater High, a secret boarding school for woodwalkers like him, that he feels a sense of home. He quickly finds friends in Holly, a cheeky red squirrel, and Brandon, a shy bison. And Carag can use them - because the world of the Woodwalkers is full of mysteries and dangers...

The successful "Woodwalkers" book series has been published by ARENA Verlag since August 2016. So far, six volumes have been published in the first season and four volumes in the second season "Woodwalkers - The Return". Since 2019, the fantastic world has also been supplemented by the spin-off "Seawalkers" and, since 2020, by the specials "Woodwalkers & Friends", which are published annually in the fall. Brandis' shape-shifting novels about the cougar boy Carag and his friends have sold over 2.8 million copies in Germany and have been translated into 21 languages.
