ProVokal - song recitals and recitals at the Kulturhaus Milbertshofen

With ProVokal, the Kulturhaus Milbertshofen offers a very special concert series dedicated exclusively to singing. From March to December, recitals are held with top-class programs and concepts, performed by professional musicians from the greater Munich area. The repertoire of the concerts is wide-ranging. Musically, it ranges from romantic art songs to Broadway songs and musicals, and geographically from Northern and Central Europe to Latin America.

The classical lieder recital emerged in the 19th century and is still very popular today. It is a concert form that concentrates on the essentials, in which only one singer performs with an accompanying instrument, usually the piano. The attraction of this format is the close proximity between the artists and the audience, who virtually get up close and personal during the course of the evening. Without a show or technical aids, the performers enter into a dialog with the audience and take them into their musical world. High art instead of bombast and bluster.

Alessandro Lazzarini began studying opera singing at a young age as a private student in Osimo and quickly established himself as one of the most interesting voices of his generation, perfecting his vocal skills with baritone Giuseppe Taddei, among others, and performing as a soloist in various concerts in the Marche region and other Italian regions. In 2014, he moved to Germany, where he continues to perform mainly in Augsburg and Munich.

Wolfgang Kraemer is a passionate musician. He worked as a lecturer and accompanist at the International Working Group for Music in Saxony-Anhalt with wind instruments, taught at the Gersthofen Singing and Music School, at the Wertingen Music School (accompaniment and piano), and was director of the Karlsfeld Music School (near Munich) from 2015 to 2021. His extensive concert activities have taken him to Spain, Greece, Russia and China as well as throughout Germany. In 2025 he was awarded the Cultural Promotion Prize of the City of Aichach.
