multimedia - interactive
with texts by R.M. Rilke and the audience
You have to be patient
With the unresolved in your heart,
And try to love the questions themselves
(Rainer Maria Rilke)
Our time demands quick, short and simple answers - but what about the questions? Are we asking the right ones? Are questions out? Or do we avoid them because they create uncertainty?
Couldn't we just leave them in the room and stumble over them occasionally? Live with them? Can questions themselves be the beginning of action? And perhaps even the beginning of utopias?
Poetry, sound, dance, video and light merge into an interactive homage to the search. The audience's thoughts become part of the installation - live, anonymously and in real time via smartphone. Access is possible at any time during opening hours.
The Alte Wursterei with its rustic backyard invites you to take a break - with drinks, bratwurst, cake and space for exchange.
The artists provide insights into their work and look forward to talking to you.
Visits are possible at any time during opening hours. Free of charge.
