The film follows a young man in Hong Kong who takes on the role of his previous partner with each new hook-up. In this mimetic intimacy with others, he hopes to get a little closer to himself
Already screened at the Berlinale, Queer Panorama tells a very ambivalent story of loneliness, sex dates and intimate and violent facets of being together, of gay "dating culture" among city dwellers. A documentary-like gay social research in black and white in feature film format.
