Cosmo, Kölnchella and the bookstore Neusserstr. present the reading of Yasmin Shakarami's new book and heartfelt project "Sturmflirren".
Yasmin Shakarami has just published her second novel "Sturmflirren" after "Tokioregen". On the one hand, she uses the typical structures of young-adult romance novels, but on the other, she adds a very personal touch: Her story is set in Germany and Qatar, it tells of feminist young women who refuse to let their freedom be taken away - and of queer lifestyles in Muslim-dominated societies.
