In the organizer's words:
“Queerstories” is a program featuring stories inspired by queer historical figures from the 17th to the 20th century.
In it, a young trans woman explores New York in 1970. A lesbian woman flees Nazi Germany. A modern fairy tale tells the story of a gay protagonist and a swallow. And, of course, the wild life of Julie d’Aubigny is also recounted.
In the tradition of oral storytelling, a voice conjures up images in the listeners’ minds that move and inspire them.
