Every now and then, wildflowers sprout in droves in the middle of the Californian desert. This phenomenon, known as "Superbloom," paints lush colors across a traditionally arid and barren landscape. The creation and development of Silent Planet reflects this phenomenon. Since 2009, the California quartet has layered hypnotic hooks over alternately raw and rich soundscapes infused with hardcore, post-rock, metal and ambient textures.
