"Thinking about the future today" is the motto of this course.

In this workshop, we’ll focus on the plants, briefly discuss how they work, and learn interesting facts about the ancient tradition of smudging.

Since smudge bundles and smudge cones are made from fresh plants, we have to start thinking about the future as early as midsummer.

Under my guidance, each participant will tie a beautiful smudge bundle from the fresh smudging plants.

We’ll follow the same process for the smudge balls.

These are carefully prepared and wrapped so they can dry completely at home, ensuring that when the time is right and the occasion calls for it, you can light the perfect smudge made from local wild herbs.
