They shaped political hardcore like few other bands, not least with their epochal masterpiece "The Shape of Punk to Come". Now the Swedes are set to shake the German concert halls one last time. Emerging from the Swedish hardcore scene, Refused break with the usual conventions of the genre and thus secure their place in the music world. Since their formation in Umeå in 1992, Dennis Lyxzén, David Sandström and their changing bandmates have stood for musical radicalism and visionary stubbornness. They were never just a band, but a statement! Can I scream? Yeah!
