Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Sophie Koeppen writes powerful to tender songs in English and German, blending pop and jazz. With her music, she gives her audience intimate insights into her colorful, turbulent and stirring emotional world, whereby her lyrics and her appearance could not be more honest and authentic. You are so in the moment that you almost forget how complex and to the point the 20-year-old composes. The students whip out their cell phone cameras, the pensioners are completely inspired. Simply great.
