Cousines like Shit is a band based in Vienna, Austria, consisting of the two cousins Hannah and Laura Breitfuß. With critical punchlines, cousins Hannah and Laura Breitfuß express their views on social phenomena and the paradoxes of being human. Their tracks offer the opportunity for self-reflection, convey the feeling of being caught out, or simply make you smile when you recognize the comical nature of certain human behaviour patterns.

Their sound defies categorization - Cousines like Shit themselves call it "Avant Trash". This is also the name of their debut album, which was released on Seayou Records in September 2023. Their self-proclaimed genre "Avant Trash" reflects the cousins' unique style, their lyric-focused approach and their simple but catchy melodies
