WAR ON WOMEN's fifth studio album, "Time Under Tension," will be released on May 8, 2026. While the new album continues to meet fans’ expectations for thought-provoking lyrics and powerful punk energy—heavily influenced by activist themes—the band is also experimenting with melodic elements from alternative rock, indie, and other genres. This expansion and evolution is clearly evident in their latest single, “Messages Unsent.”
The band name War On Women sums up the group’s stance perfectly. For over a decade, the band has been at the forefront of activism, communication, and social change. Their songs are created in response to headlines, news, and current events surrounding intersectional communities—with the goal of raising awareness and formulating a response based on humanity rather than division.

Since 2017, CHESTER PARK—in their current lineup—has been delivering post-hardcore with depth: with guitars that oscillate somewhere between a “wall of sound” and a “broken electrical outlet,” multi-voiced choruses to sing along to, and lyrics that range from insomnia and world-weariness to everyday life and little escapist fantasies—it all comes together on stage, loud and unfiltered.
They sound like the soundtrack to a nighttime taxi ride through one’s own inner world—somewhere between ’90s emo nostalgia and a modern post-hardcore storm. A bit of Jimmy Eat World, a bit of Thursday, but with significantly more grime under their fingernails, leaving their own little dent in the genre.
