In the organizer's words:
Original characters from the well-known satirical series Hurra Deutschland - once broadcast on WDR from the 1980s to the late 1990s - are given a new context. The exhibition presents rare film clips, insights into the process of creating the puppets and early designs of the world-famous mascot PILLE, GOLEO 's companion for the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
All of these works were created by the artist Ute Krafft and are juxtaposed with live coding by Michael Rogulla, which brings historical materiality into an exciting dialog with contemporary digital practice.
