15:30 - 17:30: Workshops
Three parallel workshops will take place in the afternoon.
REAL PRESENCE: color in space
Together with the painter Sibylle Czichon we will work on a piece of art. It will explore how painting becomes a spatial and physical experience through movement, color and printmaking tools.
The workshop Too Pretty to... Dance as Empowerment, led by dancer and choreographer Eloisa Mirabassi, uses dance to question traditional role models.
What Draws Us Together is an animation workshop. Julia Jesionek gives an insight into the history of animated film as a feminist medium and its technique.
For all those who do not get one of the limited workshop places, prefer to rest or network, there is the opportunity to take part in a Strolling Around at Kunsthaus Essen.
17:30 - 18:30 Break
During the subsequent break, refreshments will be provided before the musical finale.
18:30 - 19:15: Concert
Aylin LeClaire takes us into an atmospheric world with a folkloristic, dark electro sound.
The evening ends at 20:30.
