In the organizer's words:

"RheinPop - unplugged and freshly tapped" is the name of the series of events launched by Nico Mono. Together with his guests "Giants & Dreamers" and Julian Adler, the singer/songwriter will take to the stage at Joode Lade in Cologne on Thursday, January 29 - all of them will be bringing original and acoustically performed music with them.

RheinPop offers a platform for bands and solo artists who identify with the versatility and appeal of popular music. The evening will be hosted by Ari Reith. The event is supported by Joode Lade, one of the most "pop-popular" Kölsch pubs in the cathedral city, and by Gaffel Kölsch. Both have long specialized in enriching Cologne's cultural life.

GIANTS & DREAMERS

Inspired by genres such as country, folk and Americana, the duo from Cologne has created a versatile repertoire of songs that tell stories, invite you to dream and sweep the audience away. Performing live as Giants & Dreamers since 2023, the duo reflect their long-standing relationship with music and each other in their songs and on stage. They create an atmosphere of intimacy and depth that touches the audience through the harmony of their music and their connection to each other. With their first single "Dreams", the duo can finally be heard on all streaming services.

JULIAN ADLER

Cologne-based musician JULIAN ADLER combines personal depth with international influences from artists such as John Mayer and Tom Misch in his "Pop mit Fernblick". His German-language songs are carried by multi-layered sounds and a voice that switches effortlessly between cozy warmth and crystal-clear presence. This special dynamic has already brought him to the big stages as support for Max Herre and Max Mutzke and to the programs of broadcasters such as WDR and SWR. Following the success of his debut album from 2022 and over 100,000 streams, he toured throughout Germany. The songwriter is currently working on his next release in the background to make waves again.

NICO MONO

If you look at NICO MONO's discography, you'll find one catchy tune after another. The musician is at home in German-language singer-songwriter music. However, his songs take him out into the world. The singer already shared his passion for travel with his listeners in 2015 with his nationally successful summer hit "Amsterdam". With a keen sense of atmosphere, he creates musical spaces that touch and stay with you.
In addition to his own music, the Bonn native is also known for his sing-along concerts, where he turns the audience into a choir with songs ranging from "Westerland" to "Wonderwall". "I love the energy that arises when people sing together - whether it's my songs or the classics."
