From July 17 to 19, the Rheinuferfest is a great place to feast, stroll and party with a magnificent view of the Rhine.
From Friday to Sunday, numerous traders present themselves between Hohenzollern Bridge and Bastei, transforming the Rhine embankment promenade into a festival mile. There is a wide range of goods on offer, from handmade natural soaps and hand-sewn bags to unique pieces of jewelry.
In summery temperatures, a visit to the Rheinuferfest can be combined with a walk along the Rhine with a wonderful view of Cologne's Tanzbrunnen and the Rheinpark.
And if you need a break, simply stop off at one of the many food and drink stands: after all, no one has to miss out on Kölsch beer or wine, bratwurst, flamed salmon and delicious Rievkooche.
