The kitchen is far more than just a functional space for preparing meals. It’s a social gathering place, an impromptu concert hall, a late-night confessional—and often the place where the truly important conversations take place.

Hannes Ringlstetter and Stephan Zinner love to eat, drink, and cook. In their fourth joint stage show, they therefore almost inevitably focus on the interactions between the refrigerator and the stove: culinary disasters, everyday rituals, and those philosophical digressions that usually only arise once the official part of the evening is long over.

“Something to Do with the Kitchen” combines new songs with texts from the books *Prachtexemplar* by Stephan Zinner and *Ein Steinpilz für die Ewigkeit* by Hannes Ringlstetter. Added to this are further stories, as well as plenty of room for spontaneous ideas and the unexpected.

Sometimes biting, sometimes thought-provoking, musical, and offering a dry take on the absurdities of everyday life. An evening about food, friendship, and the realization that every decent celebration eventually ends in the kitchen.
