In the organizer's words:
Reading for Beer: Two people read aloud whatever the audience brings: Goethe, shopping lists, instruction manuals, or poems they’ve written themselves.
After each reading, you decide by applause which you liked better: the text or the performance. If the reading was better, the person on stage wins a beer; if the text is just too good, the beer goes to you as the text contributor.
Nobody: Try reading this baking recipe as Angela Merkel! Reading for Beer: Hold my beer.
