Rhythms. Rites. Ecstasy.

Rituals as a form of human communication and collective experience are at the heart of this evening of ballet. In “Black Milk,” choreographer Ohad Naharin unleashes a creation of almost cult-like intensity. “George & Zalman,” on the other hand, is a choreography that evolves from various movement elements, danced by five women.

In addition, there are two new works: In Neshama Nashman’s piece—Nashman is a choreographer and dancer with the Ballett am Rhein—collective movement generates a tension that dissolves into a quiet atmosphere.

The new work “À fleur de peau” by Martin Chaix is a journey inward, making the invisible pulse of human emotions palpable as they rise to the surface in an immediate and raw manner.
