Roland Jankowsky - Over...is back! Die Lesung

For nearly 30 years, Roland Jankowsky has played the somewhat eccentric Inspector Overbeck in the popular ZDF crime series *Wilsberg*. In the show, he enjoys playing the cool cop, but he keeps putting his foot in his mouth. Nevertheless, his role has since achieved cult status. In 2018, viewers voted him “Germany’s Coolest TV Detective of 2018.”

Roland Jankowsky, the actor behind Overbeck, has been touring very successfully with his crime story readings for over ten years alongside his film work. Here, his path is paved less with blunders and more with corpses.

In what has now become a six-part series, Jankowsky reads short stories by various authors, all characterized by surprising twists, wordplay, and grotesque situations—and they all end unexpectedly. Jankowsky is an excellent reader.
