Barcelona-based sound researcher Marina Herlop's compositions are driven primarily by her remarkable voice: The spectrum ranges from operatic high registers to a more dreamy, sweet sound. The Catalan experimental musician fascinates with her vocal manipulations, rhythms and digital embellishments that stretch the human voice in seemingly infinite directions.
