Round - TRACE

Cologne-based singer, songwriter, producer and performer TRACE creates her own transgressive pop universe of fragile falsetto, loud math rock, deep throaty vocals embedded in electronic glitches. In her music and art, TRACE creates radical intimacy with emotional honesty, transforming anger, sadness and love into her unique vision of Dream Pop.

TRACE's debut album FUCKING AND DREAMING, released in October, radically breaks preconceptions of how trans* being can feel and sound. The album was preceded by the cutting queer heartbreak of the YOU KNOCKED ON MY DOOR TO SEE THE STARS EP in March 2023. TRACE's music and performances are at once visceral and tender, exploring the transcendent universality of a trans* female perspective.
