Between water creature and human woman
The water nymph Rusalka wants to become human because she loves a prince who is drawn to her at night. In return, she must give her voice to the witch Ježibaba for the longed-for human soul; a return would be paid for with the blood of her beloved. But without language, she remains only a fantasy for the prince, his love withers in the world of humans. Rusalka is caught between the worlds. How far will she go?
