SACHSEN DARTS GALA with top-class field of starters

Gian van Veen, the youngest European champion of all time, is also coming to Leipzig for the first SACHSEN DARTS GALA. In the QUARTERBACK Real Estate Arena, he will face Martin Schindler, Niko Springer, Nathan Aspinall and Chris Dobey, among others.

"Game on" will be the name of the game for the first time in Leipzig on January 24, 2026, when the stars of the darts scene take to the oche as part of the PDC European Darts Galas. Trick shots, fan walk-ons and the shared experience with thousands of fans will make this evening unique.

The fans in Leipzig can look forward to two top German starters:
Martin Schindler is the first German to enter the TOP 16 of the Order of Merit this year and has won three European Tour titles in the past two years.

Niko Springer made a big statement this year with his victory in the Hungarian Darts Trophy 2025. He is only the fourth player to win a title on the European Darts Tour. In May, Springer narrowly lost the final of the Dutch Darts Championship to Jonny Clayton.

Nathan Aspinall and Chris Dobey are two other players in the top 20 of the Order of Merit at the oche in Leipzig. Aspinall, a two-time major tournament winner, won his first title on the European Tour in 2025. Two more titles on the tour followed in the course of the year.

Chris Dobey secured his first Major title in 2023 and reached the semi-finals of the 2025 World Championships. In the Premiere League Darts 2025 he managed a one-day win.
