SAINTS, SEA AND SUN

is a musical project that aims to combine the jazz experience, in particular the practice of improvisation, with the atmospheres and colors of the musical languages developed in the countries bordering the Mediterranean basin. The quartet's repertoire consists of original compositions by the group members, inspired by the traditional musical forms of Mediterranean popular culture. These include Italian tarantellas or other folkloristic and sometimes centuries-old pieces that have already been taken up in Italian classical music and are now also enriching jazz. The band thus brings us acoustically back to the summer nights on the Ligurian coast.
