Sandro Saez Trio feat. Ben van Gelder

The music of the Sandro Sáez Trio is driven by the vision of combining jazz with free improvisation and influences of modern 20th century piano music. From lyrical or even energetic free improvisations, from quivering swing to polished grooves, the trio is able to act in the moment and make quick decisions. A combination that both sweeps listeners along and constantly surprises them. With Ben van Gelder on the team, the band is complemented by one of the most virtuosic and at the same time individual voices on alto saxophone to be found in Europe.
